HYDRO FUEL

From http://www.hydrofuelsolutions.com

"The technology of using hydrogen as a combustion enhancement in internal combustion engines has been researched and proven for many years. The benefits are factual and well documented. Our own utilization of this technology. i.e. the hydrogen injection system, has also been tested and proven both by institutions and in hundreds of practical applications in road vehicles.

Here is a synopsis of a sampling of the research that has been done:

* In 1974 John Houseman and D.J/Cerini of the Jet Propulsion Lab, California Institute of Technology produced a report for the Society of Automotive Engineers entitled "On-Board Hydrogen Generator for a Partial Hydrogen Injection Internal Combustion Engine".
* In 1974 F.W. Hoehn and M.W. Dowy of the Jet Propulsion Lab, prepared a report for the 9th Inter society Energy Conversion Engineering Conference, entitled "Feasibility Demonstration of a Road Vehicle Fueled with Hydrogen Enriched Gasoline."

In the early eighties George Vosper P. Eng., ex-professor of Dynamics and Canadian inventor, designed and patented a device to transform internal combustion engines to run on hydrogen. He later affirms: "A small amount of hydrogen added to the air intake of a gasoline engine would enhance the flame velocity and thus permit the engine to operate with leaner air to gasoline mixture than otherwise possible. The result, far less pollution with more power and better mileage." In 1995, Wagner, Jamal and Wyszynski, at the Birmingham, of University Engineering, Mechanical and Manufacturing>, demonstrated the advantages of "Fractional addition of hydrogen to internal combustion engines by exhaust gas fuel reforming." The process yielded benefits in improved combustion stability and reduced nitrogen oxides and hydrocarbon emissions

BUT THEN...
From http://paultan.org

"Using hydrogen as a supplemental “fuel” in a regular petrol combustion engine has even been the subject of an SAE paper (#2002-01-2196 Performance and Fuel Consumption Estimation of a Hydrogen Enriched Gasoline Engine at Part-Load Operation - I bought it for USD14.00). The paper discusses the idea of hydrogen being introduced into the combustion process to enable leaning out the air-fuel mixture - more air and less fuel required. The end result MAY be similiar to the fuel savings achieved by lean burn operation in a direct injection engine. I was shocked to read that the SAE paper found petrol consumption was reduced by up to 56% depending on conditions!

The other issue that may or may not be of concern is hydrogen embrittlement, where metals especially high-strengh steel can become brittle and crack when exposed to hydrogen. Exposing your combustion chamber to hydrogen may cause your cylinder to crack! Check out the wikipedia page I linked for more info about this. This is quite an issue in the hydrogen economy and engines that burn hydrogen (instead of using hydrogen in a fuel cell) such as the motor in BMW’s Hydrogen 7 and Mazda’s hydrogen-powered RENESIS have been specially designed to withstand this."

DNA

SYED HAMID: Anwar should not be worried about giving DNA sample
BERNAMA
KUALA LUMPUR,Thurs:
Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim should not be worried about giving his DNA sample if he wanted to uphold the truth.
“The simple thing is to give the DNA and let the expert read the sample because DNA don’t lie, why should you be worried? Let them investigate,” he told a news conference at his office at the parliament building here today.

BUT THEN......

DNA : Good reasons to fear

The following is the full statement given at a press conference called by embattled opposition leader’s lawyer R Sivarasa.

"In 1998-1999 trials, Anwar experienced the phenomenon of fabrication of DNA evidence. We had SAC Rodwan illegally removing DNA samples from forensic custody. In cross-examination of the prosecution’s witnesses it was exposed that DNA taken from blood samples was planted on the infamous mattress.

When confronted with this fact the prosecution amended its charge and persuaded the judge, Augustine Paul (now Federal Court judge), to expunge the entire DNA evidence from the record, preventing Anwar Ibrahim’s lawyers from responding."

"Anwar has even more reason to believe of the probability that DNA evidence will be fabricated once again. This is reasonable because the complainant remains in police custody since June 28, 2008 and the police are also in possession of Anwar’s DNA from the earlier case."

From Bernama.com

PETALING JAYA, July 19 (Bernama) -- Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim Saturday maintained he would not allow his DNA sample to be taken over a sodomy allegation, saying he had last subjected himself to a DNA test in 2004 and that result was still applicable.

He claimed that blood samples were taken from him five or six times while he was serving a six-year jail term for corruption from April 1999.

Anwar said there was no sound reason for him to undergo a DNA test, considering that the last one was done in 2004 and that DNA data would remain unchanged for a long period.

"In fact, a fresh DNA sample is unnecessary. The (DNA) data will not change even in 2,000 years. If there is a sample, I do not see the need for me to give (a sample) once again," he said in an address at the PKR headquarters here.
Home Ministry to fast track DNA Identification Bill

From http://sun2surf.com/

PETALING JAYA (July 20, 2008) : The Cabinet has directed the Home Ministry to table the proposed DNA Identification Bill in the next parliament meeting beginning on Aug 18, so that the law can be passed soonest.
But with only eight days (Monday to Thursday for two weeks) to meet in August and several other bills scheduled to be tabled for debate for the duration, the big question is whether the Parliament will give priority to the tabling and debate of the DNA bill which is hot on the heels of the sodomy accusation against Anwar,

If it does, will the public not believe that it is indeed aimed at the PKR de facto leader?" Nanyang asked.

Pusrawi Can Be Penalised For Negligence

KUALA TERENGGANU, July 31 (Bernama) -- Hospital Pusrawi is liable to a fine of up to RM300,000 and its management can also be imprisoned if investigations reveal that there was negligence which led to the leakage of information concerning the 'medical report' on Mohd Saiful Bukhari who had earlier claimed that he was sodomised by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

SAIFUL POLICE REPORT
Electric News . July 10

`This case is full of holes. For example, the police report wasn't even given to me. I asked for it in court and they said no.'So after court yesterday, I went back and wrote them a letter and still they said no.'I wrote them an appeal letter and finally, they said yes. Then this morning, they say I cannot get it. There are just so many inconsistencies.'
